FAQs

Find out more about PCB design, manufacturing, pricing and administration in our frequently asked questions. PCB - PCB panel sizes and panelisation
  • What panel size would you prefer if I want to panelise PCB design myself?

For prototype and very small volume production, our one-off set–up cost increases in steps of 200sq cm. For standard production, we prefer near A4 (around 210mmx280mm) size as a panel. You can choose your own panel sizes, provided our manufacturing optimisation and material utilization isn’t significantly compromised.

  • Can I put multiple designs onto a single panel for manufacturing?

Yes. We mainly allow it for prototype and very small volume productions. One-off set-up costs may be higher than normal prices, please send your quote request.

  • How much of a gap should I keep between boards if I want to panelise myself?

2mm for routing and 0.5mm for v-grooving. This gap should be measured from the centre of the cut marks or outlines.
